Well, here it is Friday and I can't wait for the weekend to start. Luckily, we have a long one to look forward to.
Monday will be Memorial Day. It is a day that we need to take a minute out of our BBQ's, pool parties and endless sporting activities to remember all of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives in order for us to maintain the level of freedom that we have. Those brave men and women serving in our military, both past and present, deserve to be remembered with honor. Take a break from your summer festivities this weekend and say a prayer for those still fighting for us today.
As for me, I will be remembering. Both of my grandfathers (deceased) served with pride. My 21 year old son serves in the USAF today and completed his tour of duty in Iraq at the end of last year. Keep them all in your prayers. Not just this weekend, not just Monday but everyday. They never stop so why should we.
